Educating outside the Museum

A fundamental goal of any Museum is to extend your reach to people through Community involvement. The Perris Valley Historical Museum is doing just that by developing new programs that involve “travelling collections”.

Our latest endeavor is with the Perris Elementary School District (PESD) utilizing the recently aquired Perris Centennial Exhibit Collection.

The highly spirited Superintendent Vince Ponce, his nine school Principals and many Teachers are helping the PVHM develop a “rotating” system that allows sections of the Perris Centennial Exhibit to be displayed at the nine school sites and Admin offices; simultaneously!
